General Terms and Conditions

RESERVATION: The reservation is completed only after receiving an e-mail confirmation from our staff. Since it could not be possible to modify it afterwards, you are kindly requested to check carefully and contact us in case this document looks incomplete or incorrect. To ensure your reservation, a valid credit card or a 10% deposit (of the total due amount) for each booked apartment in case of a stay over two nights is required. The contract starts when we send you the confirmation of the reservation. The abovementioned contract is subject to the Italian Law and the Parties agree that the competent court to solve any potential conflict will be Siena (SI).

PRICES: The prices are in Euro and VAT-inclusive, any tourists-taxes applicable in accordance with the laws in force are not included. Surcharges: for children under 2 years needing cradle/bed and linen an extra of 5.00€ per night is required; it is possible to use the laundry paying a 5.00€ fee (detergent and dryer are included).

CANCELLATION: In case of need of cancellation after the confirmation of the reservation (regarding the person that made the reservation or anyone included in such reservation), the person that made the reservation is required to inform us immediately by sending an e-mail to: info@laprovenca.it. The cancellation will be free of charges only if made 15 days before the date of arrival and the deposit, if payed, will be fully reimbursed.

CHECK-IN: The check-in time is between 4 and 7 p.m. Guests are kindly requested to provide the reservation voucher and valid identity papers during the check-in; in case of minors not accompanied by one of their parents, an authorization signed by one of the parents with parental rights over the minor is required. In case of early or late arrival (compared to our check-in time), please inform us in advance, preferably by e-mail, to let us provide a better service.

CHECK-OUT: The check-out time is between 8 and 10 a.m., if you need to check-out outside the fixed hours, please inform us in advance. Kindly remember to hand back the keys at the end of your stay.

METHOD OF PAYMENT: The eventual payment of the deposit can be made by bank transfer in euros on our bank account:

The payment of your stay and eventual extra fees can be made by Visa, MasterCard, Pagobancomat, Maestro and Cartasi card schemes credit cards or you can pay cash (according to the procedures laid down by law).

ADDITIONAL SERVICES: The swimming pool is open between 1 May and 30 September from 9 a.m. until nightfall. To access the pool, children under 16 must be supervised by an adult. Pool regulations will be available to our guests once they reach our facility. Dogs and cats are allowed with no additional charge after your prior notification and our confirmation.

SPECIAL REQUESTS: If you have any special request, please inform us during the reservation. Even if we will try to meet all your reasonable demands, we cannot ensure that any of your demands will be met without our written confirmation.

MISCELLANEOUS: The facility has a 700 meters’ white road with variable slope. You are advised to proceed at low speed.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY CLAUSE: We and our staff are not responsible or liable in any manner towards you and any natural or legal person related to you, we are only responsible for direct and immediate damages really caused, and payed, as direct consequence of a failure in the provision of due services. The compensation (including legal assistance costs) will, in any case, not exceed the total cost of your reservation. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we, our staff, representatives, consultants, affiliate partners, license holders, or anyone involved with production, sponsorship, promoting or distribution of our website and its contents are not responsible or liable in any case for loss of or damage to property, reputation or right loss; for inadequate descriptive information of our services on our website; for services provided or products offered on our website; and to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws we exclude and disclaim liability for any losses and expenses of whatever nature and howsoever arising including, without limitation, any direct, indirect, general, special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages; loss of use; loss of contract; loss of income and profit due to the functioning of our website; claims of third parties; or other losses of any kind or character linked to the use of our website or any kind of losses or costs linked to an external agency used to book any of our services. In any case, we and our staff are not responsible for loss, theft, destruction or damage of objects belonging to the guests during their stay in our facility.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS: These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all our services available online, directly or indirectly, by any mobile device, e-mail or phone. The access to and use of the website, using any application trough any platform and/or making a reservation, implies your full acceptance and undertaking to abide entirely these terms and conditions (in accordance with and for the purposes of the Articles 1341 e 1342 of the Italian Civil Code).

PRIVACY: The farmhouse La Provenca will take care of the registration and of guests’ personal data processing in accordance with the rules laid down by the D.L. N. 1296 of 30 June 2003 establishing that the processing of personal data must be respectful of rights, dignity and confidentiality of the person concerned.
